What are custom greetings?
Custom greetings are recordings that play to callers on your Talkroute numbers: a welcome message, menu prompts, voicemail greetings, hold music or promotions, and after-hours or closed messages. They make your business sound polished and help callers get where they need to go.
How do I add a greeting?
In Greetings & Music on Hold, choose Add Audio File. Record with your computer’s microphone in the Talkroute web or desktop app, or upload a file you already have, then name it and choose its type.
What file types can I upload?
MP3, WAV, and M4A files up to 20MB.
Can each of my numbers have its own greeting?
Yes. Each Talkroute number can play its own welcome greeting, or several numbers can share the same one.
